The work is beautifully detailed, the colors mesh, and it's lovely! The only thing I would do differently is the nose. Normally the nose is a little bit more prominent, but it is easily overlooked in favor of the originality and dashing colors. I love the keys and mushrooms (Alice in Wonderland reminiscent), and I normally dislike skull motifs, but this is gorgeous and I can't wait to see the rest of the series! Oh, and it's interesting how the closeness of the objects fade as they get closer to the end of the page. Is that intentional, or did it just happen?

This piece of art made me wanting to write a critique again.
First of all, the anatomy of the skull is awesome. We have talked about this in school for a very long time and I feel like you got it perfectly. The shadows look awesome and real, especially with the colors.
The colors themselves are almost perfectly chosen, they match perfectly and give the right emotions to the painting itself. I love that you chose to use a color gradient, beginning with the pink on the top and ending with the yellow on the bottom.
You care much about the details, that's something I already loved about your first pieces of art and the thing that I still adore most about your work. The person who looks at this piece of art gets the feeling that it's perfect and that you didn't miss anything.
I can just say: Awesome job!

This piece is very interesting. I do not say that in a bad way. The color is immediately eye-catching, though the subject mater is a kind of mature version of Alice in Wonderland... mushrooms, vivid colors, butterflies, keys, locks, hearts...
Anyway this is very interesting to me, and my eyes continue to roam and look at all the fine detail. I have to commend you on said detail. That is amazing. I love the technique you've used with the watercolor washes and the marker work on top. The skull is beautiful, and is, to my knowledge, accurate, which I applaud you for. I particularly like the way that mushrooms are growing out of the skull... the pen marks you used to shift from one to the other are great. I continue to be drawn back to the eye sockets... great use of color there.
Overall, this is really cool... I'm not sure quite what it makes me feel, but I could waste a few hours staring at it trying to figure that out.

I really love the detail and the bright colors, I can really see the texture and the shadows of the mushrooms and the insect wings. The splotches of paint in the background are a nice touch, especially when they overlap. I feel like there's either a really deep meaning behind this, or its just a simple yet wonderful painting... but I can't tell which of those it is. I must say that this is a fantastic piece of art and that I cant wait until I can see more.
Also, I like how before you uploaded the final product, you uploaded the work in progress. I always think its nice to see a piece in its element.

I really enjoy seeing this piece, most people portray skulls with something dark and depressing. In some situations it`s really interesting to look at. As for what you did here it`s an expanding burst of light, happiness, and creativity from the splatter background. Good work on the originality there!
I love your color palate! Looking at the top then down to the bottom it changes, like a rainbow. It mixes so well and gives the entire thing such a lovely compliment. Especially the color for the skull, what got my attention was the nice detail you added to the cheeks. It flushed out well!
As for the mushrooms and butterflies; it makes me think of life. Something you wouldn't normally depict with a skull. It gives it a really nice touch. Your line work is great; in fact everything is really creative and simply awesome! I don't have anything bad to say about this.

Your use of color is so perfectly executed and absolutely gorgeous. I love everything about this. The shading on the skull, the little details, the mushroom, the heart with the key, how the paint drips work with those beautiful vines at the bottom, the blush on the skull, and the way it looks a bit chaotic but all works together...this is just so amazing. Keep it up okay?
