LuLu was born into a family with her two sisters, Cassandra and Bella. Her mother made a living selling medical supplies to hospitals around Unova. She loved her daughters but because of the rigorous demands of her job she was always off traveling. She'd only have time for a quick visit before wisking away to another hospital somewhere.

LuLu's caretaker was a grumpy gothetille. The happiny grew an instant disliking to the pokemon and constantly wished her mother was there. She grew quiet and rather reserved, usually sitting in the corner mumbling things. Seeing the gothetille wasn’t any help LuLu’s sisters felt like they had to do something.

Bella and Cassandra went out of their way to bring life back to their lifeless sibling. The sisters spent many days playing make-believe, reading storybooks and singing nursery rhymes. Through all this much-needed attention LuLu soon grew out of her depression. She grew to be a lively, high-strung happiny and accepted Bella as her new mother.

Things changed when Cassandra and Bella got intern jobs at the hospital through their mother's connections. LuLu was extremely lonely and begged for her sisters’ companionship. Eventually, out of sheer exhaustion and annoyance, the gothetille quit. Her mother (out of Bella’s recommendation) decided to enroll their daughter in the daycare right down the street from their apartment.

One day Bella came to pick LuLu up and to her surprise she observed her tightly clutching an ovalish white rock. After inquiry LuLu said that this was her egg “Eggy” and she was going to take care of it, just like her sisters with eggs in their pouches. Amused, Bella allowed LuLu to take the “Egg” home with her and it soon became a permanent member of the family. Where ever the egg went LuLu went. Her family soon grew to accept LuLu’s new obsession.

While the egg gave her joy it brought LuLu problems when she reached grade school. Her teachers called her “a joy to work with” but “disrupted the learning environment” no doubt making reference to LuLu’s constant companion. Her family moved her school after school, eventually realizing the public school system wasn’t compatible with LuLu’s nature. Armed with this new information, they started looking for private schools that would be based on more “hands-on” activities (and allow eggs).

With many hours searching they finally found one in a city miles away but it was in a neighborhood far above their budget. After looking for other neighborhoods close to LuLu’s new school they found Pokette. The prices were modest and the town had other children around LuLu’s age. Her mother (with her job to take care of) decided to stay, appointing Bella as guardian for her sisters. With that the three siblings packed up their things and made their way to town.

- JOB: A 24-hour protector of her “egg”.

-LuLu hates that her hair is curly. She desperately wants it to be straight. She has gone so far to lie on the floor for an hour with a heavy rock on her ponytail hoping it would flatten it.

-LuLu affectingly calls her “egg” a ton of nicknames such as “Eggy” “Egg Mc Egg” “Eggler” “Eggster” “Eggo” and “Eggalicious.” (She cannot decide if the egg is a boy or a girl so the egg’s names are gender neutral).

-LuLu wears a pair of red glasses (she's nearsighted). However the happiny thinks they look silly on her and tries to avoid wearing them as much as possible. Because of this she often mistakes people she meets as someone or something else (its hard to distinguish blobs).
