Description
So, as many of you may know, I started playing chess again. So, in the middle of a practice (playing against myself), I decided to use the camera ~IrishBuffaloGirl purchased me for Christmas. So, with the help of Photoshop, I decided to create a fairly decent piece of photography to put on deviantART. After I'd taken my pictures, I chose one (this one) and decided to experiment. So, I give you one of my first colour splash photography!
Feedback and critiques is appreciated, I'm just beginning so please don't be too harsh. Thank you

Very nicely captured for a beginner!
I would have had taken the colored pawn fully to the picture. As you see the bottom cuts out from the pic. Otherwise I say this is very nice photo. I like the edit.

I meant on that part that if I would have taken that shot, I would have had moved camera/zoom so the colored pawn would have been fully in the view since its "feet" cuts out slightly from the picture.
