How I Spend New Years Eve
Party! Every New Years Eve we have a party with some of our family and most intimate friends.
The image shows a collection of emoticons two minutes before New Years Day. Two emoticons having a drink, celebrating the start of the new year. One emoticon, perhaps a drunk emoticon or a child, has fallen asleep. The last emoticon has stolen a cookie.
The days on the calendar are ticked off and it's almost time to start the next year.

About the Deviation
The animation didn't turn out how I wanted it to, so I scrapped most of it. The 'Zzz' isn't great but I didn't want the piece to be static. I had bubbles for the drinks, balloons bobbing up and down, someone writing on the calendar and the clock changing. Unfortunately, that didn't work out as it looked rubbish...
