[link] This is what my screen looks like. I have investigated every button, every drop-screen, every everything but I cannot seem to find anything at all like what you're describing. 8c;;
Yes, I've just been coping, but on this lesson, even my tenacity has fallen short. 8/;;

You're not using Paint.NET, that's what we are using throughout the course.
If you want, I'll have a look for a GIMP tutorial

I just checked out the link you'd sent out at the start of the semester. There are two download buttons. I went with the one on the right, originally, which led me to GIMP. I just now tried the one on the left, and my firewall... well, went psychotic on me. It actually is doing a full system scan now, which has me extremely paranoid, but anyway.
Yes, I'd greatly appreciate that. ^^ Thank you.

I see. I don't know any one who's caught a virus from it. I haven't.
I'll begin my hunt!

Well, the firewall I use - Norton - bases its reactions on how many/few Norton users use a certain file. So I'm gonna guess that nobody with Norton uses this...

well you can use that as a template then make the rain yourself pixel to pixel and turn it to pixel rain

I wouldn't necessarily call that pixel art, though.

It isn't, not really Yet it's just an easy effect that can be done in the software our class use. I just needed to upload something quick. I'm planning on uploading another lesson (a fairly decent one
) to make up for it.
But you're right, not really pixel art.

Well, the thing is, you have it set as a "pixel art" lesson, when it's using an effect, not pixels.

Yes, sorry but I teach a Pixel Art class and seeing as it's a good way to further your skill by using the effect to study how the rain is pixelled, for further reference, I mean. So, no it's not pixel art, but an effect often used on pixel art.
But thanks for pointing it out
