Description
Not a photo manipulation or taxidermy....I sculpted both the chipmunk and pixie from polymer clay. The fur on the chipmunk is not a pelt, but recycled fur from coats and scarves, applied bit by bit in a layered fashion. The piece is close to life sized.Related content

This is just amazing. I love your whole collection and very jealous of the talent I don't have. The detail is fantastic. Love them all.

Wow, I can tell you right now, you have something going, keep doing this and you'll be famous.
But just one question, is the squirrel taxidermy? or was it just sculpted, if it is just sculpted I will be stunned!
please reply

Beautiful! Again, I wish there was another shot of this so we could see more of the wings, and the body of the Chipmunk. You did a beautiful job with the fur by the way! I have never tried anything like this myself, but I think you did a great job!
I have submitted it to the Fairy Sculptures folder of "Fairy Doors and More," [link]

wow... i would think for SURE that were taxidermy of some kind. I can't even PRETEND to know how you'd do that. I know you said in the comments... but it's just so GOOD from such simple materials.

Simply beautiful! Is it air-dry polymer clay that you use? It has a lovely translucent quality. And the pelt is simply amazing! Such attention to detail to copy so painstakingly the pattern of a chipmunk's pelt with recycled fur.
