Description please read this, else the image wont make much sence!

this tutorial is 1. my first and 2. inspired by a full box of tic-tacs

i was recently looking at a box of tic-tacs and the different ways light reflected of everything. on the edge of several tic-tacs where you'd expect them to be in shade there was a highlight, after a short bit aof thought i came to the conclusion that it was because the light was reflected off the other white tic-tacs in the box.

once i had noticed this i started to notice it on other things, blue objects near orage objects had a slight orage glow in their shade.

this is true of everything, even the colour black reflects some light, else it would just be a sillowette, its something thats worth taking into consideration when drawing/painting etc, everything reflects a tiny bit of light unless there is no light, but then its just a black scene so it doesnt matter, unless an object is in a vacume and there is absoloutly nothing else around then it wont get reflections on it from other things, but it may still reflect light on itself.

hope this is of help
