Description
This was inspired by a scene from the TV series SMASH. The song is "Reach for me" and the actress/singer performed the song while in hanging upside and turning all around in cloth streamers. Really amazing routine. There's also a little bit of Tarot inspiration there from The Hanged Man card.Rendered in Poser 2012 Pro with postwork done in Photoshop CS5

The hanging-upside-down pose reminded me of a bat, which also works well with the gothic environment you have set up. Very nicely done!

YES! One of my all-time favorites! "One thing I never did like about Santa Rita...all the damn vampires!" Aaahahaa! They filmed it in Santa Cruz...where I lived for a while and where my heart STILL belongs! HILARIOUS movie! There's actually a Lost Boys 2 script out there...kind of dark, still a little silly, but pretty great -- IF they could get the right cast together...
Anyway, remember "YOU killed MARCO!"??? That's what this reminds me of!

I tell you: I wanted Marco's coat SO BAD! It was what got me in to sewing...and yet? I never made Marco's coat. And then just last year, out of the blue, I thought of that coat again...turns out, it ended up on E-Bay and some lucky fool bought it! And for something like $2,000...
I would totally have paid two thousand for that coat. If, of course, I HAD a spare ... well...nevermind...
Still. Remember that coat? It was the PINNACLE of cool!
And. Alex Winter--that was Marco. Recognize him? 'Cause...he went on to be the guy who WASN'T Keanu Reeves in Bill and Ted's excellent adventure. Which I've seen, sadly, almost as many times as I've seen The Lost Boys...and, even more tragic...I STILL don't know which one's Bill and which one's Ted.
It just never really mattered, did it?

I think season 2 is even better than season 1. Season 1 was mostly Broadway-ish songs...really good songs, but not necessarily my cup of tea. The songs this season are more mainstream, which I prefer. But there's a lot of character development that happens in season 1 that you're really missing out on. If you have the chance to see season 1, I definitely recommend it.

I haven't heard anything yet, but there's a FB group can't "Don't Cancel Smash" and they're trying to do things to save it. Here's the link.. [link] So far, no news is good news, I guess.
