You say free, but don't provide any license information so one would have to assume these couldn't be used and distributed with 3D models using Creative Commons.

working on it. going to post it today. you can use them for whatever art you do as far as you will not resale or redistribute

That is my point. "not resale or redistribute", CC in it's own way means "to redistribute". So if I used your textures with my models, I would need to redistribute them (or samples of them as they are cut and pasted to the various faces of the model) with the model. CC then gives others the right to modify or use my work freely, but also to redistribute.
I got bit by this badly last year, I caution people and implore you to make it clear that "free" means free to use, does not mean "freedom" to distribute. By your very words, these textures are "steer clear" for people doing CC work.

well, put it this way... if you download let's say 20 or even 100 of them and then put the somewhere as your own that is resale or redistribute if you download 10 or even 20 and use them as part of your work that is not really resale or redistribution it is more "using" and that is what they are for.
I can't see any point to make textures for people who need them and then tell them not to put them in their work. it will hardly stop people to download them in vast amounts and them somehow use them for they own benefits but that's the way it is...
on the other hand why should majority of people who are happy to have a good resource for they work should "suffer" because of this.
this is also why price for our stuff is quite "low" considering quality and amount...
only solution I can think of is that everyone who find our materials useful will download them from us rather than from someone who is going to promote them as their own...
obvious benefits of this is that site will grow and make the life for people who are looking for something more easier...
let's hope this explain things clear enough...I'm putting all this in some understandable "rules" but again I personally don't think it's going to stop mentioned above..
