Commission for Berry-Kitsune , of her tragic couple Lilly and Balthazar! //v\\ Some of you may remember Balthazar from my previous comm for her here:Last time it was Balthazar with his daughter Himeko, but this time it's with his wife Lilly! <3 I had so much fun painting these two, especially after finding that super cool Fringe effect on SAI - everything looks so watercolory anD I LOVE IT //// It made it so much easier to paint the spider lilies and roses in the bg (not to mention that they look super nice ehehehe) and the hair ornament on Lilly's head as well! I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THIS OUT ON OTHER PIECES ///v////
I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to say but I forgot and it's already 2am here so...... into my bed I go!

Thank you so much! And as I mentioned in the artist's description, I used the Fringe effect on the layer so that I could paint the flowers without having to line everything in advance :'D (The Fringe is super useful because it creates a pseudo 'line' around the colors you paint, and it makes things look like you colored in some nice thin lines XD) I hate hate hate lineart, so this is a thing I'm really glad I found!

I can not get over that perfect couple pose and the serene atmosphere, EVERYTHING IS SO BEAUTIFUL MAN. Lilly looks stunning I love how you coloured the dress, all the desaturated tones with all the reds look so lovely and make it look more atmospheric and THE SHADING ON THE WHITE SHIRT I always love how you shade white tho ///// The hands also look so nice btw, how are you so prooooooo *A*

WAAAH KRISSY ;;V;; thank you so much for all your compliments!! It took me a while to do the pose and coloring cause I wanted it to be perfect but i had so much trouble on the way ahaha and I'm glad it worked out somehow///!
