A request for parachutedresses: www.deviantart.com/parachutedr…So for anyone who doesn't know who this is, this is Giselle from Disney's 'Enchanted' a movie with insanley good and funny 2D animation that for some reason feels the need to be live action for most of it's run time; boo!
anyway the outfit shown here is her wedding dress from near the begining, the thing is a girly clusterstorm; it apparently weighs 18KG and most of that is on the hips; her actress is a friggin' trooper.
Also one last bit of fun triva, the reason why Giselle isn't in the princess roster is because disney didn't want to pay Amy Adams royalties for her likeness.

Amy Adams, who played Giselle, commented that the weight of the skirt would make it hard to stop walking forward. It also needed to be cleaned constantly; Times Square was quite a mucky place back then.

Indeed. I don't envy her for a second. Curiously, the lessons learned from this film would be applied in the live action remake of Cinderella.

Weight of the skirt. Then again, the two are very different. One was only needed for a handful of early scenes, whereas the other needed to be more versatile.
