Description
Okay so this is the technique I use to colour my comic panels/pages.However I actually...paint with colour when I CG pictures. For comics I just paint in greyscale because it saves time.
Tools; Photoshop CS2, SAI, Wacom 5x4 Tablet
edit; OKAY I DIDN'T SAY THIS IN THE TUTORIAL
Lines were drawn in SAI
Everything else was done in Photoshop!

thank you so much!! but i have one prob, i can never get my brush stroke/shape to be set like urs, like how it is narrow on one end, grows thicker in the middle and narrows back down again. i've tried setting my brush to be like that on other tutorials, but it never works. Can u help??

Hm..you have to have a check on the "shape dynamics" box
It's the first box in the brush preset.
You also have to have a tablet for it to work properly. D;

yeah, i've tried checking the dynamics, shape dynamics and smoothing on the brush preset before and i still cant get the brush. do i need to install it?

do you have trial photoshop or something? I think trial photoshop doesn't allow you to access shape dynamics.

I didn't have to install. :/ But I remember my friend's photoshop wouldn't let me access shape dynamics.

Hmmm, interesting, I've never thought of shading before coloring (or of using overlay for coloring). I tried using the wet edges option but my strokes are short, messy, and plentiful, so it didn't work so well. Neat to finally figure out how you do it, though

Hm, I downloaded the english version.
I searched up SAI on wikipedia and there's a link to the english version download on the bottom of the wiki entry.
