I removed this years ago by 'storing' it on Deviantart. Unfortunately I don't know how to access that storehouse[?] so ...3 years later I'm re-uploading this ? LOLYou can kind of tell this is really old.
God this tutorial is wordy and full of typos.

I love your style, especially the watercolor effect. This helps a lot, especially on the brush aspect. Brushes and their settings sometimes make or break the coloring and style. XuX

8DD It's AWESOME.
Any program really works though. Personally I can't stand photoshop brushes for lineart, the brushes are too blurry and I don't have as much control.
But that can be remedied by scanning in pencil/pen lineart and working from there. :]

Such cute characters!! I use similar techniques for some of my coloring, but usually I make the layer "color" instead. "Overlay" gives a more vibrant color, though. C: Thanks for sharing~
You can access the storage by going under "Manage Deviantions" under the menu that you can get to next to your username at the bar on the top of the site.

Yeah, most people I know use colour and multiply for layering on the colours. I fail at using those two options though OTL

ahahha I've stopped using multiply layers. I've stopped even trying to use multiple layers. ._. I love overlay, too, but lately my colors don't work well with it. WISH I HAD A SUPER VIBRANT COLOR PALLET. *A* Everything turns into pastel!
