And that's okay that you don't, not everyone likes America or what it stands for. But I notice that what you posted in this one group is usually Captain America being killed or portrayed as a murderer.
By the way, what is it that he symbolizes that you don't like, exactly? Because he stands for a lot of things.

I said "Captain America represents the "authority" that serves the US government and corporations. Is a metaphor that symbolises the marines, the army and other military US forces that serves US corporate interests. suits him well.... "

I can understand your anger there. Sometimes I despise the government and corporations as well sometimes (especially now). However, our armed forces try the best they can to protect us and it's not their fault that they are over in Afghanistan or Iraq; it is the governments.

Also, I believe that Captain America symbolizes something more than that. Forgive me but I believe he symbolizes the bravery, the strength, and the courage of the American people. Think back, he was a character made in the '40s to boost the spirit of Americans who read comic books. He was intended to be a symbol of hope and strength. He also represents the military, yes, but it was in a time where our military really needed all of the support it could get.

I know you might not think so, especially with the image of America today. Remember, Captain America was never made to represent the government or the corporate interests in it; he was made to represent the people. Or, more likely, how the American people should be... but have failed to become.
