this is a powerful image and makes an excellent point. Some people do treat the media like it's God, my soon to be mother-in-law is like this. I think every opinion she had comes straight from CNN, it's annoying. Do people even think for themselves anymore? no...why should they? They have CNN and MTV to do it for them, and omg! don't forget E! because everyone knows true facts about the world comes from E! Anyways, this is really good, and nice detailing on the wings.

okay...i'm going to have to be 100% honest here.
i love all of your work. i mean really really love all of it. you improve really quickly and i look forward to seeing every piece you come up with, even if it's just a little doodle (like the Abandoned Yellow pikachu, for example).
But this? This is just....I don't even know what to say about this other than it's now my favorite thing I've ever seen by you. Possibly one of my all-time favorite deviations on this entire site.

Believe me, I do not say that lightly. The message, the shading, the colors, the textures...it's just fucking perfect, man.

I'm surprised you didn't add smartphone headed dogs as little cherubim floating around it... I think it'd work well...
We're so addicted to the hyper connectivity and constant attention to news or updates, that when we don't have access to these things, it's like the world is ended. I went without my cellphone for a day, and I must say, it was a bit liberating, but also unnerving not being able to let people know I was alright after driving from jacksonville to raleigh to help friends move into a new apartment. Also the back-of-the-head thought of "what if I get in a wreck or other car trouble" and not having a phone...Yeah... It weighed on me, but also made me really see just how carnivorous my addiction was to my iPhone.
