That's true...haha. Well I think it's really cool meeting people from other countries. I've only ever met one person from Hungary before.

Sure, but I'm from America. Here, everyone is mostly American. When I was in Europe, I met some people from Hungary though.

O that's ok!
I had a teacher who was Hungarian when I was in Germany and she was so nice. She always talked about how she understood what it was like to be a foreigner in germany, it was really sweet.
O and plus you guys have a totally amazing hetalia character representing you!

Really? It's cool that you think she's like you! I think it's pretty funny how the hetalia characters have are such a good representation of the countries personalities. (Not always, but most of the time)

yeah but there are things in each nations that i just don't believe.
For example i never even heard that hungary is considered a yaoi fan...heck there were gays that got killed here(and not just few, lot's of them),just because they are gay and show it in public.

polymath13 In reply to Hungarianbeast [2011-01-29 22:21:58 +0000 UTC]
O really?
Yeah well I think some things are very exaggerated. Like, if there were some people from Hungary who were yaoi fans, then the character would be a yaoi fan too, you know? So in some ways, I think that it's not a great representation of the countries. Like, I'm American and I'm a vegetarian... I never eat hamburgers... Though I find Alfred really funny and I love him as my country!

that's totally true to me too.
Just because Hungary is yaoi fan, i can hate it.

Right. You don't like yaoi? Me too. It's kind of annoying. Yea I understand, but I also think some countries are really funny on Hetalia, and you can't watch it if you're easily offended.

Here in the US we can start driving at 16. It's pretty exciting, but expensive! I have to learn, though because I go to school pretty far away, and my parents don't want to drive me. So that's why I'm learning.

Hungarianbeast In reply to polymath13 [2011-02-22 19:54:58 +0000 UTC]
well if i would live in the UK i would have my licence for a few months now.
Hmm that is kind of bad that they don't want to drive you there. Here in Hungary, if we go to a "far away" school we either take the bus and take care of ourselves, or our parents takes us.(mostly the bus version)
I am glad that i live only a few streets away from school ^^ EGY L

O really? How old are you? Well, you don't have to tell me if it's uncomfortable because you don't really know me. I'm 16.
Yea I really like my school, and I hope I can keep going there, but it may be difficult because it's far away and it costs money. So I may have to go to another school which I don't like very much. Well, I'll see what happens.
Do you walk to school? I live in the country, and even the closest school in my town is a few miles away (maybe like 10 km?) and there's no sidewalks or ways to walk there. If I went to a public school, atleast I could take the bus. but I go to a smaller school that's farther away, and there's no bus or anything so we have to drive... I really liked that about Europe, that teenagers can travel by themselves with the bus, because here we can't do that until we have our drivers licence.

i see. Well i am about 17, but not just yet.
Where would you go? I tell you. Don't change schools just because it's hard to get there, if you like that school. Sometimes it just better to not change things.
I was almost forced to leave my primary school because of...complicated things. My luck was that i was an 8 grader and i just left to my secondary school, but the classes under us got moved away. Sad really.
Yes i walk to school and i hate it in winter but what can i do? Sometimes i ride my bike there, so i can even go to a store before i go to school and buy my breakfast(or lunch sometimes). I'm really glad that we still got original bakeries here. They are delicious.
You see i love Szeged better then Budapest just for thi reason. It got more space(since it got destroyed by flood and Szeged is considered a new city, full with wide streets and open spaces.) I's just so much more comfortable, then Budapest.(And believe me, i have been to Budapest so many times that i couldn't get lost if i wanted to)...
10km is not that much, tho i'd hate to walk all the way. Maybe you should get a bike too.

I will stay at my school if I can, because I really like it, and it's not so often that you find a school that you like. I used to really hate my school - the one that's close to me. The only bad part is my new school is 20-30 minutes by car.
Do you like your school now? I think school is sometimes really complicated because of the classes, and also the people. Always drama... I don't like it.
Do you have to walk far? And is there lots of snow? It doesn't sound like very much fun.
Do you live in Szeged? I've never been to Hungary....I should. Do you recommend travelling to Hungary? I looked at it on Google though, because of what you said. It looks very open and also very new and clean.
I have a bike, but there's no side walks here. So I have to bike on the roads, which are very narrow, or go on a trail, which only goes to certain places. It's because I live in the country. If I lived in the city, it would be different, I guess.

Hungarianbeast In reply to polymath13 [2011-02-26 21:27:39 +0000 UTC]
Well...i used to like my Primary school, but it does not exsist anymore, and the one right now... i won't grow close to it, because i have only 3 more years and i'll graduate.
So i don't care about "liking" a school anymore, it just won't make a difference.
Yeah i know we have every-day-drama too >_>
No not that far. Only a few streets. I can count it on one of my hands how many exacly. Right now we have a terrible amound of snow here, which is going to be a problem in springtime. We have lot's of flood ahead of us.
Yes, yes i live in Szeged. Right now i doN't recommend coming here, you see 2010 and 2011 is not a good year for us. We have seen way too many catastrophies these years. And it's still going on.
Stay where you are, it's much safer.
In Hungary, we doN't ride the bike on the sidewalks, we ride on the street.(on the edge of the street) I live in the suburbs, not in the middle of the city.

O yeah that's true. Are you planning to go to college after school? I am but I want to travel first ~ not sure how thrilled my parents will be about it, but I'm saving all the money I make from different things, and I have some friends in different places I can stay with. So I hope that all work out.
O really? We got a lot of snow were too. It's crazy, we got like 4 feet, which is like more than a meter. Of course, now its melted and packed down more, but on all the street corners there's still enormous piles of snow. It's good for skiing I guess...
O I see. but you like living in Szeged?
I've never lived in a city. I've always been in the country, we have a forest right our behind our house. But it's not that bad, because I live in a neighbourhood with houses very nearby. I think I'd like to live in a city for a little while. It seems like it's much more exciting. Though I appreciate living here because we never have to worry, it's pretty safe. Some of the cities nearby have a lot of crime and it's pretty dangerous to live there.

That's good.
I ove living here. It's much more..calm.
Well i'd say you should stay there. An animal won't attack you without a reason meanwhile people can kill just because, or just because they are ill and can not accept that they don't have a chance in life. They go mad. It's sad but very true.

Right that's so true, and I think about that sometimes, that I'm grateful that not many bad things happen in my town, and it's much safer, so I don't have to worry when I'm alone. And you like your city? That's good too.

Hungarianbeast In reply to polymath13 [2011-03-01 18:29:15 +0000 UTC]
yes that's right ^^
Szeged is something i can call my home, and i'm glad i wasn't born in Budapest. Many say that it's a beautiful city, and for travelers, tourists it is great, because the guied(s) will show you the wonders of it, but...the ones who live there, who know the true face of Budapest those see it as a second New York. In a negative way.
