Description So I finished off my low poly female base model. A vast improvement of the old one -> [link] and the body ->[link]
The boobs don't look so..fake anymore XD;

I fixed the anatomy and re started only this time sculpting it out in Zbrush, then importing into Maya and building around it.
She is about 8 heads tall, and I'm going to be using her for characters in the future.

Finally got those hands and feet figured out took a lot less time doing it in Zbrush, then modeling first in Maya.

She is 4200 tri's including her eyeballs. Onto the next project!

you are welcome! and also, when I click the download button, it gives me a screenshot of the whole browser. Could you maybe give me a link to the picture by itself?

Once you hit download, when the new tab opens up right click on the image and go "save as" for a non browser version

There's definitely a huge improvement since the last version! From the (very limited) experience I have of building characters, it's always great to have a workflow including 3ds max/maya and ZBrush and changing software whenever you feel stuck at one point and feel like it would be easier with the other software. In the front/left view, the part between the breasts and the side bothers me a bit but I can't tell what's wrong.

Thank you!!

Yea I noticed a lot of my inspiration 3d character artists doing it, and I wondered why. So I tried it and I can see why! It feels more natural. How I draw characters is I start with a line of the skeleton and pose, then I draw simple circles/ovals for the body parts, then add detail, etc. Zbrush works in a very similar way, and I find it much more fluid and more in my frame of mine then Maya/Max to make the model characters.

yea this isn't the final final base yet, as I still need to bring it into Zbrush one more time to finish it off. Still debating whether I'll be adding bra and panties, probably should given that it's a model meant to be able to change its 'attire' so to speak. Thanks for looking, nice to get crits/comments from fellow 3D modelers

You're welcome!

That's also the way I draw and I guess that's the way of doing it. Always starting by rough shapes and detailing as you go.

A final pass in ZBrush might be a good idea but you're definitely getting there! I can't wait to see what you're gonna do with this model!
