Every morning I wake up just for him. He is the most glorious being--so warm and bright... Every day I look up at him, almost shyly...and every day I am ignored. It's not that he does it to be cruel--it's just that I'm only one admirer among many, and cannot stand out. I'm a tiny slip of a thing, owner of only my own fragile beauty. I strive to do my best every day, just for him, but it's not enough to gain his attention.After all, I am just a poor flower in love with the sun.

lol It was a really cute myth... About a nymph that looked up at the sun and fell in love with its charioteer, Apollo. He drove by every day, and she just stood there watching him. He never noticed her, but she eventually became so rooted to the spot that she became a sunflower, a plant that STILL follows the sun as it goes throughout the day and then droops at night.
