I have no idea how far back Shasta's and LennyStendhal13 's character Lucretio's friendship goes. But if it does go way back to childhood, they'd be the sassiest, most aware kids in the nursery group. Who knows what they've just discovered here! It could be adults kissing, adults proclaiming war, or an adult taking a selfie and then falling down the steps. Whatever it may me, Lucretio is making an out-loud observation XD
Sorry for the poor quality >.< I had just finished lining the new Hat comic update and needed a short break. Was too lazy to fight with line thickness! Also I never realized how similar Shasta's and Luc's eye colors were 0.o They're not exact, but pretty close.

XD Oh my gosh, that's as adorable as it's hilarious. I wonder what they are witnessing. Probably Stendhal and another group of adults making small talk with (in Lucretio's eyes) unsatisfactory vocabulary and/or talking about too trivial topics.
...but I like the idea of Stendhal taking a selfie and then falling down the stairs more!

I'd say the earliest back it'd go is toddlerhood since Shasta wasn't an infant when stuff happened to her. But that would explain how she can put up with him for the most part!

She develops different volumed wheezes that mean different things. For example, you'd be able to tell when she's annoyed by a long exasperated air sound. But I don't think they have pone sign language 0.o
I wish him luck with that! I haven't found any grammar issues in them so far!

Actually almost forgot to get the okay from you with the whole parent thing...I wanted to make it a surprise at first but then realized that Derek might not like it. When Spyro went on the Africa trip they would find Shasta and bring her back. So if you're okay with it, Shasta would have the Snail Harem as parents 
Although her biological parents would totally be dead since they'd die trying to protect her from another tribe's attack.

I'm not sure if Derek is going to be a nice parental figure though. How about we make her mainly Spyro's kid, but all three of them will take part in bringing her up? Like she's their child and all, but Spyro is the one who cares after her the most.

You...guessed the dynamic exactly right 0.o She's actually going to be Spyro's travel buddy until she hits school age, then Spyro would have to settle down a little until she's old enough to either travel again or go off on her own. Tony would definitely have to help out though, since a purely Spyro-raised child would be terrifying XD I'm sure Derek would do his awkward best! He'd probably get along with her better when she hits school age tho.
Martin's dreams have been granted!
Aunt Ursula has a nice ring to it, but if they're around the same age they'd probably get along just fine then too

But hey, like my parents say, it's better to try bad things in good environment or something like that. Like once in Prague I bought myself a weed brownie, went to the campus and phoned my mom. She was like "well I knew you were going to try that anyway, I'm glad that you're in the campus and that I know that you're safe". Same for when I tried smoking. But they'd NEVER allow me to do such things in bad company!!Β
So I think if Spyro does allow her to try things out, it won't be super bad.
