Description It is an old trick to pour steaming hot water over tightly filled inflatables, in order to have them stretch even more, and be inflated to gigantic sizes.

But which inflatables work best with this technique?  Vinyl?  Rubber?  Could hoppity hops also work?

Call was eager to help Call with this little experiment, while visiting her namesake-sister's world.  They met in a rented room, filled with old inflatables; beachballs, pooltoys, and even hoppers.  Of course they also brought over an electric water kettle, and a nice strong pump.

Little Call did not even wait for the hot water to completely dry on the whale, before giving it a nice ride; the other Call, with a smile, sat upon it too, causing the front end of the pooltoy to swell right underneath her shorter android friend.

Of course, heat-stretching made inflatables much more susceptible to popping . . .  And both calls were very eager to help their inflatable toys along their way

@#@#@

This has been taking me the better part of three weeks to finish.  I have been working on other things of course, but this has taken the most time; in addition to featuring multiple characters, which makes things much more complex, the way I had the inflatables set up kept needing to be changed due to wanting a foreground set, as well as a more-detailed-than-usual background.

I contributed to the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, and I am really happy that the version of Call that I wanted won in the selection.  While I did not contribute to the Red Ash one, I do hope it comes out, and I will probably buy it if/when it becomes available.  However, I am not as enthused about the Red Ash game as I was for Mighty No. 9, even though it is supposed to be that game series' version of Megaman Legends.  This is because, while I do like the character designs, I do not feel they made the "new" Beck and Call look enough like the MN9 versions to pass as the same characters.  Rock/Megaman & Roll from the Legends series still looked enough like their original counterparts to pass as alternate-universe incarnations, while the Red Ash versions Beck & Call both look more like they were intended to be original characters, and while I doubt it is actually true, my mind keeps thinking that Comcept was just trying to take advantage of the popularity of the MN9 characters in doing this.

Still, I DO love the design of Call in Red Ash; from the first picture, I wanted to see her squeezing a balloon between her legs while smiling

Anyway, back to work for me.  Until next time!

So that's why Keiji is constantly making Kickstarters! It's so he can afford all the balloons that these two are popping!
