And lukewarm tea is slipping down my arm as I distractedly glance at my screen
I hate that feeling,

like a reminder that nothing is yours
that the earth will make you dirty if it damn well pleases
or wet, spilling down your sleeve like clammy fingers
laying claim, saying
"You are mine, sweet, and each day I take
a little speck of you but I am greedy
and one day your coffin will rot and your flesh will bloat and I will take you completely."

maybe I'm just clumsy.
