Okays, my sister and I were remembering Code: Lyoko episodes, when suddenly, we remembered "The Secret".Now, I loved William to death in that episode, because he helped save the day by defusing the detonator that would've blown the whole place up. (He even wanted Ulrich and Odd to seek shelter, so that they wouldn't die if something went wrong.) But then, she reminded me of this one part...
He tells the guys that they need to find the detonator, because that's the source of the bombs. Ulrich asks William how he knows about stuff like that. And William begins to explain before Odd cuts him off. Then, Ulrich says thanks to Odd, as if he wanted William to shut up. I was all like, "WTH? Ulrich asked the guy a question. William was only answering it. Why did they cut him off and act like rude jerks?"
I mean, c'mon! If a guy was helping me, and he knew a lot of facts about bombs, I'd be all ears. It could be a learning experience. I know they needed to find the detonator, but William might have been ready to tell them that his uncle showed him how to defuse detonators. (Should've waited the extra five seconds...)

In my country they have just aire the first two seasons and up to now I'm not particullarly attached to William but... So agree!! Those guys do that a lot, especially to Sissy (actually I made a little fanfiction where my fan-chara - Sissy's cousin - scolded them about that XDDD ).
Anyway, I love the way you draw Lyoko characters. The last panel is simply gorgeous!

I dunno. Odd's been getting a tad annoying in Season Four so far.

Yeah, in one episode, he was playing some video game at the wee hours of night, and keeping Ulrich up. And when Ulrich asked him to either turn it off or turn it down, Odd apparently lost his game and then, blamed Ulrich for it. Then, later on in that same episode, he gets into a fight with Aelita over something stupid. And there was another episode where he has a big bragging issue.
I hope he gets better, but so far, he's been my least favorite character in Season Four.

Such a mess! I always loved how Odd, in spite of his joker attitude, always managed to get the little clue the other were clueless about (such as the many times one of the gang run out the room in anger and he is the one who explain the others why they are angry) or how solicituous and caring he could be when one of his friends seems hurted (specially arround the two little girls).
I think that those puncutal moments made a nice contrast with his usual laid back clown behaviour and helped to make him a deep character.
But you are right, as the second season went by he seems to have slowly become more and more fidgety and has less serious moments.
I wonder if it's an incoherence with the way he was portrayed at the previous seasons (due to an author's new point of view on him or something) or if it's that the creators decided to develope his character through a some kind of catharsis.
I think that's possible. After all, Aelita, William and Sissi have gone through an evolution that implied some drastic changes on their characters with regard to their previous selves, haven't they?
Anyway, I'm just speculating, you are way more advanced on the plot that I am. Will keep my fingers crossed while the new seassons are aired
