The next Day

Your POV

It's already friday. My last day with the Iwatobi Swim Club. Next week I can swim in the high class swim pool in the middle of the town. It's very sad, because I had much fun practicing with the guys.

When I arrive at Iwatobi High school Haru is waiting there for me. "Hey, Haru."

"Hello, (_f/n_). Today's your last day, isn't it?" I look at the ground with a sad expression.

I will miss especially Haru. He was very nice to me all the time. Like a big brother.

Suddenly I feel a pat on my back. I look up at him and see a light smile in Haru's face. "It's okay. That doesn't mean we can't swim together anymore." I grin and we walk to the pool.

All of a sudden someone hugs me from behind. I almost fall over, if Haru didn't hold me. I turn around and look in Gou's teary eyes. "Oh, (_f/n_), I will mIss you so much! It was so much fun together and I enjoyed being with you. Can't you stay with us any longer?" She looks at me hopefully.

"Kou, I will miss you, too, but I got a member ticket for the High class swim pool and that's an offer I can't reject." I hug her tied and together we spend a wonerful day.

Little Nagisa really got on my nerves, but he's very funny. Makoto is very down-to-earth and I like people like that. And Rei. Rei is a bit creepy. He always stares at me and I don't know why. it's not a loving stare. It's a creepy stare. Ah!! I don't know.

Goru is very sad, too. But I promised him to visit him more often.

I say goodby to all my new found friends and we exchange numbers. Haru and I made an agreement to meet next week and swim together. I wave at them all and begin to jog.

Then it hits me. Rin and I didn't say where to meet. That's an problem! What should I do? I don't have his number and when I just go somewhere we maybe don't meet. Now I'm in the street where we met yesterday.

After ten minutes of waiting I hear a voice behind me. "Luckily you're here. I couldn't think of another place." He grins idiotly and I must laugh with him.

"Hey, Rin, we should exchange numbers. That would make the whole thing easier."
He stares in my (_e/c_) eyes and then looks away. I'm not sure, but I think I just saw him blushing. The jerk can get really cute.

We walk to the park and begin to talk. The most time I speak. I think he's not the type of speaking, but that's okay.

Then something cosses my mind. The problem between Haru and Rin.It's sad that two previous best friends now are rivals. "R-rin, I have a question?" He looks at me curious.

Rin's POV

(_f/n_)'s mood seems to change. After talking so much she's suddenly very quiet.

"What is it?"

She plays with a (_h/c_) lock and looks at the ground. "Why aren't Haru and you friends anymore?" I'm shocked. I've feared this question. It was obvious that Haru would tell her.

"I-I had my reasons." She looks at me worried with her big pleading (_e/c_) orbs, but I can't tell her.

"It's okay, Rin. You don't have to tell me, when you don't want to." She smiles lightly at me, but I know this question is still in her head.

We walk silenly togehter. The silence is unberable. So I ahve to ask her somehing. "How much longer do you train with Haru and the others?" She looks at me. Oh, I can't take my eyes off her.

"Today was the last day. Next week I train in the High class pool in the middle of the town. But if you want, we could meet after that."

"Sure." Mhm, this conversation wasn't very long. I walk her back hime and we arrange wo meet the next day, too.

Your POV

Everyday I meet up with Rin after school and it nerver gets boring. The Regionals are soon and the training gets harder.

Today I meet with Haru to swim together. We meet at the beach to swim in the sea. We had lots of fun. Now we are in the park. "Haru, today was a very good day. Thank you very much." I grin at him and he smiles back.

We walk a bit til I don't recognize a stone on the ground and with my luck I fall over it. Haru reacts very fast and catches me before I could hit the ground, but then he falls too and we both sit on the ground laughing.

"Are you okay, (_f/n_)?" I nod, but I can't stop grinning.

Suddenly Haru is quiet and looks with a serious expression into my eyes. "(_f/n_), are you in love with Rin?"

I'm shocked. How does he know? Why does he ask? My mouth opens and closes like a fish, but no words come out. I look at the ground with red checks. "Yes, I do."

My hands are shaking and I think I'm about to cry, but then I feel a pat on my head. "It's okay, (_f/n_). I'm not angry. On the contrary I'm happy that you and Rin can be together."

I look up at him. My (_e/c_) eyes filled with tears. "But Haru, I don't know if Rin loves me back." I look back at the ground. If I hadn't did this I would have seen Haru's eyes turn around to a person behind me.

He places his hand on my shoulder. "(_f/n_), why don't you ask him now?" I turn around to see Rin. My face now burning red I nod and stand up. "Good luck, (_f/n_)." He smiles at me.

I go over to Rin and stay in front of him. "R-rin, I-I want t-to tell y-you something." My heart beats so loud that he might hear it. My checks are red like a tomato. I look him in the eyes, but my courage gets smaller, when I see his angry face.

Rin's POV

She wants to tell me something? What? That she is happy with Haru and doesn't want to meet me ever again? That she played with me all the time? And I thought she's different from those bitches.

"No, (_f/n_), I already knwo what you want to say. And I don't care. Go and be happy with Haru. It's not my problem." In my rage I don't see the tears in her eyes.

She grabs my hand. "Rin, you misunderstand something. I'm not-"

"I don't want to hear your lame excuses. Let me be, bitch." With this words I rum waway.

My head hurts so much. I didn't expect that something like that could happen. I'm in love with someone like her? Not in 10 million years.

I run back to Samezuka and go into my dorm. Nitori jumps up, when I slam the door and crawl on my bed. "Matsuoka-senpai, is something wrong?" I growl and he is quiet in no time.

He's at fault. If he hadn't told me such things about (_f/n_), I wouldn't have fallen in love with this beast. In this night I couldn't sleep at all.
