Hey, I used to have this add on firefox, really cool thing. Recently I had to restore firefox (got a malware on it). I remember I usedd 2 add-ons on firefox: one was Deviantanywhere itself, but the other was an add-on that added a new line at the bottom of my browser, so I could actually see deviantanywhere. Do you know the name of that add-on? I cant find it anymore.

I get the same problem like Prue84. Since Firefox updated to 33.0.3 I get a redirect error when I double-click deviantAnywhere.

I don't know if it's just me (it's probably just me) but it's been two days that I can't reach the site by clicking on DeviantAnywhere. It gets stuck: I get a Firefox error page that says that (roughly translated) "the page doesn't correctly redirect" and that it could be a cookie issue. I haven't changed any setting on cookies and, besides Deviantanywhere, I don't get any other issue with my browser.

honestly I dont know if is an issue from the plugin or if is a issue from Dart, too many issues on Dart lately

I had to search for an alternative after Firefox went on with this Atlantis or-what's-named new graphic. I just didn't like it, and there were functions no more available, too much changing things in about:config. Also... it was tooo heavy, it stuck with a couple of tabs open.
Seems the issue has perhaps fixed itself? Because now the redirect works.

You mean "Australis". Yeah, I know what you mean, I don't like Australis too. But there is an addon to configure the UI the way I like, it's called "Classic Theme Restorer".

As already said, Firefox was getting to tasking on my resources (4gbRAM) for the use I do with it (toons of tabs opened, heavy scrolling of Twitter with a very active timeline). It had become heavier even before Australis was rolled out, so Australis was the metaphorical straw that broke the camel's back, for me.

Due to the removal of the add-on bar in Firefox 29, this addon no longer works correctly.

There is a work around for the time being. Install this Firefox add-on , and you'll be good to go.

I have a problem with this :/ I can see only "deviantAnywhere" and nothing more. And when I check my DA I have messages, I have checked the settings and all the "Show .... notifiction alert" are checked. :c

As of today (June 6th), the add-on can no longer load message counts. I suspect dA made an internal change.

Just an awesome little extension! Even just the Ctrl+Alt+D shortcut to jump to your messages is amazing, the notifications are a bonus on top of that.
Soo much better for having a conversation with someone... being able to hear that you've got a new note, without needing to repeatedly refresh your page, is a godsend.

Alas, I don't know why it has suddenly stopped working since yesterday. Neither automatically nor manually can it check my account. It stays "deviantAnywhere" instead of e.g. "1C 1A". But if I double-click, it opens my message page as usual.
The password is OK. Delay is 60 seconds.
Is it Firefox 19 that could cause this problem? I haven't changed any setting.

I didn't test it on firefox 19... Maybe there is a compatibility problem with it. I'll have to make time and check it out.

Problem solved. It came from the Firefox option "Accept third party cookies". I've changed this to "yes" and now everything's OK.

I will install chrome separately just to have notifications, but man...if it was for firefox, it would be one of the best things ever
I just can't get used to chrome, I did tried for several months but I just ended up returning to old good firefox, maybe new users can get used to it quickly but for veteran firefox users, who used it for 5-6 years, its something kinda painful to just throw away.
