"Hawkripple's death was gruesome," muttered Springslip, giving Cloverblaze a soft, sympathetic look. "She would've made a fine warrior, and a better deputy for you. I'm sorry I couldn't do more."
"You did what you could."
Cloverblaze smiled, touching the SandClan warrior's shoulder with his tail and nodding.
"You didn't emerge without scar either. I know she's thankful for your service."

Personality: Hawkripple was known for her kindness and compassion. She was also known to often get swept up in other cats' fantasies and ideas; it made it great for her to be around kits, but it was far from useful anywhere else aside from at Cloverstar's side. Despite this, she was also determined and energetic, always rising to challenges and not letting failures deter her from trying again.

Family: Stagstride (patri) ; Twistpad (matri) ; Crowflame (brother) ; Breezewing (brother) ; Cloverstar (brother)

Bio: Hawkripple was the only daughter born of Stagstride and Twistpad, but she was clearly the one in charge. All three of her brothers often responded to her, and her efforts to protect Cloverkit from Crowkit and Breezekit's teasing were met with respect. She was glued to Cloverstar's side from the start, always agreeing to be second best in order to push him to be the first. From kithood to their naming as warriors, Hawkripple always strived to push her little brother forward before her.
On a patrol with CliffClan's deputy and a few warriors along the SandClan border, they were suddenly and shockingly met with a badger. Even SandClan warriors showed up to fight; Hawkripple sent her apprentice to get reinforcements and kept up the fight until, finally, she succumbed to her wounds. By the time Cloverblaze arrived with reinforcements and chased the beast away, the life was leaving her eyes, and she barely had time to say goodbye before StarClan took her to be among their ranks.
She watched him from Silverpelt for five moons before, finally, she saw him approaching Starpiece and eagerly readied herself for the chance to give him a life of her own.
She gave him his last and most treasured life; a life of compassion and understanding, to always support the cats around him for better or worse.
