as I stated, I have not seen it, and the fans are not helping my wanting to see it. I've got nothing against anime, hell I've got quite the extensive collection myself and am always looking for something new and exciting, perhaps I will check it out in time but I've next to no information on what type of anime genre it is or if it's something that will catch/keep my interest.

Genre? Easily action, sometimes even teetering on horror. It's pretty violent and doesn't joke around. It's got fantastic animation, too.
It may not be your kind of anime, but try a few episodes when you get some free time.

That movie was just fudging mind blowing. I loved it.
One thing I don't like about it though... it has sparked wars between Pacific Rim and Transformers, and Gipsy Danger againstΒ Optimus Prime. Those are very stupid.

In the US yes. Internationally though Pacific Rim beat both Grown Ups 2 AND Despicable Me 2, which is kind of amazing.

yo no problem man!!! i'm pretty sure like just over half the movies out there have those little scenes after, and having a family that's really into marvel movies as well as pirates of the caribbean, they (along with myself) ALWAYS stay until after the credits. i've actually clung to a theater chair while silently shrieking at my friends as they try to drag me away and out of the place, sometimes i get them to stay and then laugh at them when i'm proven right.
