Demons don't always come in the form of malice. Some come in the form of vengeance, and these two are most well known for that trait.Scorpion: A resurrected ninja who seeks revenge against those who killed him, his family, and clan.
AND
Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance who punishes the wicked by fighting fire with fire.
"I'm Wizard and he's Boomstick. And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to decide which of these two hellspawns of fire would win...a DEATH BATTLE!"

Scorpion has trained to kill but Ghost Rider hasn't and Scorpion is more brutal compare to GR so Scorpion takes this round.

Scorpion to best of my knowlege has no angelic/demonic busting powers.
& although he slow to recover from extreme injury, ghost rider would bounce back from anything scorpion can dish eventually

You think that would be good fight, huh? I do think it'd be interesting to say the least. Tommy is probably one of the the most popular Power Rangers and Scorpion is among the most well known Mortal Kombat characters. Hmm...And there are already usable sprites for both characters, I think. Would make for an interesting analysis. But I have a question for you. How would you measure the power of a Power Ranger? ^_^

Only way Ghost Rider wins is with the Penance Stare. Other than that, Scorpion wins easier.

Don't believe me? I actually have a list of reasons why you're wrong.
Here it is...
-GR's physically stronger and has more abilities to his advantage
-Hellfire body and indestructible skeleton make it so that stabs, slashes, and gun wounds won't hurt him, nor can he be torn apart
-Scorpions weapons have no heavenly properties, thus they cannot kill let alone hurt Ghost Rider
-GR's immune to hellfire, Scorpion's trump card
-Only the Hulk was able to knock him out...for two seconds before he was back up on his feet and kicking butt again like nobody's business
-GR defeated Satan, Mephisto, and Blackheart with only half his power
-GR has been through hells far worse than Scorpion
-Penance Stare turns Scorpion's past sins and vengeful spirit against him
-Far vaster hellfire manipulation, from emitting it on his body to molding weapons with it like chains and guns
And what does Scorps have to show for all this?
-Flashier moves/weapons
-He's a NINJA!
-Defeated the Dragon King...with help, and DB forbids outside help
-Mortal Kombat is awesome
-More skill...which won't do much against his highly durable adversary
-Can manipulate hellfire...which GR is completely immune to

Ghost Rider isn't an icon. Scorpion IS. Of course Scorpion's abilities are more commonly known. Scorpion likely has a bigger fanbase too. For a fictional character there are two absolutes that determine said character's fate: the author(s) and the fans.
Both have to agree on something in order for that character to continue existing. If the author does something the fans really hate, they threaten to boycott the author's goods if they don't partially change it to their liking. That's not the case all the time but it's still happened quite a bit and mostly for near minute things.
I'm pretty sure more people know who Scorpion is than Ghost Rider. It's like comparing Luke Cage to Jax. The lighter fans wouldn't know who Luke Cage is. But the know who Jax is instantly, all they have to associate him with is "the black guy with metal arms".
So don't blame me for Ghost Rider's lack of relevance. The only thing they have in common is that flaming skull crap. Wolverine's a better match for Scorpion than Ghost Rider is because of Wolverine's renegade attitude, his anti-hero demeanor, and like Scorpion he was named after a dangerous animal. Not to mention Ghost Rider has a bike while Scorpion has no vehicle whatsoever. Arsenal-wise this was an unfair battle idea to begin with. It should be Scorpion vs Wolverine, not Scorpion vs Ghost Rider.

You missed my point. In fact, I'd say you soared right past it at a VERY steep angle. My point was that you didn't know one of the two combatants (or at least knew vaguely), and from the sound of it, you didn't even attempt researching the one you didn't know about. When you judge a battle, it's wise to do heavy amounts of research on BOTH combatants. Do it on only one and that's just a biased match waiting to happen.
And I doubt Wolverine vs. Scorpion would be better. Logan heals fast to the point that superficial wounds won't slow him down and his adamantium skeleton (which is practically indestructible) means that he won't be losing limbs or his head anytime soon.

The purpose of these Death Battle Ideas is for people to say who they think would win. I did. What's up your behind? Unless you're OFFICIALLY judging a fight like Wiz or Boomstick, bias and research don't matter. It's all opinionated.
And yes Wolverine vs Scorpion WOULD be better. Wolverine heals and Scorpion is immortal. The battle would be near never-ending. Not to mention Adamantium melts if it gets hot enough. Anyway, both are cunning and daring strategists with years of martial arts experience under their belts. And Ghost Rider? Just some stuntman with a very unoriginal name who practically made a deal with the devil (Mephisto technically). He didn't even know how to fight before that. Even Spawn has a better backstory than that.
If you're gonna bite someone's head off every time someone brings forth an opinion other than your own, you have a long miserable existence ahead of you.
So what if Ghost Rider curbstomps Scorpion like you say, further proof that this fight was flawed from the start. Wolverine would be closer to Scorpion's level and has lived a slightly similar lifestyle.

Its just my idea I posted that I want people to enjoy and give a nice opinion on, not something to fight over. No matter who wins, it would still be a good fight to see. These are two fantastic and powerful hellspawns that are sure to burn the arena around them with their hellfire powers. So in the end, it really does not matter who wins and not something worth fighting over. That is all I will say. Peace.
