Now we're moving on. Now I know I've done A LOT of Sonic the Hedgehog Power Rangers, but here I think is the end all be all Sonic Rangers. Zeo felt like the right group to feature Sonic the Hedgehog due to the source material. In Zeo, the rangers got their powers from magical crystals and fought against the Machine Empire.

Sonic was the obvious leader choice, as his friends flock to him when stuff hits the fan.
I had to give Tails a ranger power, and I kinda saw the numbers attributed to the Zeo Rangers as kind of a rank system. Zeo Ranger Five (red) was the leader, with the next in line being Zeo Ranger 4 (green). Tails is Sonic's right hand man after all.
Knuckles as the blue ranger...Because the hilarity of Sonic and Knuckles swapping colors when morphing was too good to pass up.
Kinda like how Tanya came out of left field to replace Aisha and being the initial outsider here, Marine fills that role, being the only character in this roster that does not originate from their plane of existence.
Amy not only matches the color, but fills the role as that love interest for the red ranger, like Kat and Tommy were in Zeo.
The Gold Ranger started out as a lone wolf and hardly said more than two words to the rangers at first, obviously preferring to remain anonymous and work alone. That's the aspect I'm focusing on here and not the "Jason" factor, meaning I'm looking at Tray's portrayal of the Gold Ranger more than Jason when I picked Shadow to have the gold ranger powers.
