3. Damn. Hours.

At first my goal was to draw Calvin as a centaur, which is traditionally a half horse-half man creature, but as I drew more of him I decided he'd be better as half deer-half man. Actually for most of him, I just drew off the reference of a white tailed deer. I tried to give his eyes the shape of a deer's, and also added freckles as most (female) white tailed deer have spots. I know he's male, but he's gay so I don't care. I also gave him a labret, because, well, I just can't go without giving my characters piercings. I also put a bit of thought into his last name, as Doyle means "dark-haired foreigner". Foreign, as in being from another land (in my veiw), as I figure Calvin could play as a human for a short amount of time, but it would come with a cost of pain and clumsiness. Oh well, we'll see where he goes.

My original notes for him were : Calvin, 16 years old, short blond hair, brown eyes, really tall. He's really calm and friendly and has great navigation skills. If I were to give him a voice, I'd say it would sound kind of high, whiny and shaky (as in it would crack a lot).
