Aesthetically, this looks great. Symmetry always pleases when done as good as this, and the text incorporates well with the overall design. More than that though, this is functional, which is what you need in a wallpaper. There is plenty of room for icons, docks, and various little programs that sit on the desktop and work hard all day long. Definatly one for my collection.

i am doing that a bit, although people either say what you just said or "YOU DONT MAKE GRAPHICS AS GOOD AS OR LIKE YOU USED TO, WAHH WAHH" so either way people wont be happy. but i am not out to satisfy everyone. i make what i make and i like it, i just happen to put it online for everyone else to see.

i have another wall that i am not too fond of how it is right now, its in the Verve pack '5th movement' ([link] ) the fullsize has a TON of faces in it, my girlfriend pointed it out to me as i was working on it. it was crazy. i need to finish that up and submit it here. i still dont feel like its complete even in the pack =/

Woah, you weren't kidding.
Personally, i'd try and do something more with the sweet lil swirling accents. They're cool being as subtle as thier are, but i'm tempted to make them feel more 3d byt either embossing them and making them pop out, or embossing the areas around them and making them look sunk in. I could be wrong, you're the master. i am but a padawan.

Excellent, I'm glad you decided to submit this here as well as I saw it first on depthCORE. And, I'm having problems accessing my account on EE, but that's not too important. When I first saw this, I knew I had to find a use for it. I appreciate how in this image, the text is unobtrusive and really fit the emotion of the piece. The center justified and symmetrical design makes this the perfect DARK wallpaper for my collection. I have plenty of room for my icons, widgets, docks, etc.. A very practical, yet aesthetically pleasing submission.

thanks for the comments, some of my stuff works good as walls and others dont but it all depends. im not too big of a desktop icon guy. one of the reasons why i always make my art in wallpaper size is so i can use my desktop as a frame
