on Twitter, there's an art challenge for Kamen Rider Revice with the hashtag #kamenriderrevicewar . i can't find the original tweet for it, all i remember is that it's essentially you make your own Kamen Rider Revice OC, with their own Vistamps and unique gimmicks. naturally being a large Rider fan and being in a large art groove after artober i had to put my hand to it.

here is Kamen Rider Monuzar, the combined pair of Kamen Rider Nuzar and Kamen Rider Moneo. they follow the same trend of course, use a Vistamp on a Driver to transform, but instead of being two separate Riders, they occupy different halves of the human body. Nuzar takes the top half, and Moneo takes the lower half.

each half has similar and unique abilities depending on the Genome. generally, Nuzar being the human half relies on the ability of the armor he is given, while Moneo still has access to his natural devil abilities such as intangibility and shapeshifting. Nuzar is the one that initiates transformations, power ups, and form changes as well, putting Moneo at his mercy. in their base Tricera Genome they both have enhanced condition, with more of a focus on durability, strength, and stability.

The Monuzar Driver is what Nuzar uses to initiate the transformation. to start, he must press the stamp on the right side of the driver (representing his consent), activating the stand by. to finalize it, Nuzar rotates the Tricera Vistamp 180 degrees with respect to the stamp face, and stamps it on the left side of the Driver (representing Moneo, acting as his stand in). Nuzar can transform of his own will, but if Moneo does not consent the transformation will not finish.

to activate power ups, Monuzar use the same Vistamp they used to transform. the Vistamp is pressed onto which side of the belt needs the power up (Nuzar on the right or Moneo on the left, not both at the same time). for example the Tricera Genome gives Nuzar increased strength and the ability to change his vambraces and gauntlets to look like Triceratops brow horns, whereas Moneo gains increased kicking power, stability, and dashing power. to form change, the button on top of the driver is pressed, and a new Vistamp is introduced to the belt. a finisher is initiated if the same Vistamp is stamped on both sides of the Driver, much like transformation.

for form changes, i wanted to be it a sort of twist on Revice's own Genomes but instead of the base form or other forms of the Rider in question, it uses a special form/one off form. essentially Monuzar uses a form of the Rider that has a very low, if not no chance of coming back. i also wanted to double down on the extinct animal motif since Revice is a mix of living and extinct species (biggest disappointment so far, which is not saying much since i love the show so damn much).

for example, the Haast Genome is based on the Haast's Eagle and Kamen Rider Double Cyclone Joker Gold Xtreme. unlike Eagle Genome who has more focus on aerokinesis, Haast Genome is more of Monuzar's "smart" form, relying on fast reflexes and thinking to overwhelm opponents. it is also capable of flight. thinking about it now, the color scheme can also be considered an homage to Cyclone Accel Xtreme as well.

Helico Genome is Monuzar's Helicoprion and Kamen Rider Decade Violent Emotion-based form. as you can see it has an affinity for blades much like Revi Megalodon Genome, but it relies on vibrating handaxes based on the Helicoprion's lower jaw. the saws on Moneo can vibrate and move as well to allow cutting, and the form excels underwater.

it was really fun coming up with all of this. from the initial design (splitting the body in two, and mixing the horns and frill on the helmet), to figuring out what colors would work and what forms to use, there's a lot. i was obviously very inspired by Revice, using a Triceratops in contrast to his Tyrannosaurus rex, and his forms being a spin on Revice's own. i'm not sure if i'll draw the other forms (at least in full), but i'll think about it.

also if you will ask about the names, say their names fast and in Japanese.

Tricera Genome
Monuzar's base form. As stated before it has a strong emphasis on defense, being nigh indestructible. It has commendable strength with less than commendable speed and agility, though these are usually compensated by running on all fours and Nuzar & Moneo working in tandem.

Stamping Trump: Nuzar's vambraces and gauntlets stiffen into Triceratops brow horns, increasing in strength, defense, and puncturing power.
Stamping Trample: Moneo gains an increase in kicking and dashing power, usually to drag the enemy across the ground before tossing them aside.

It's Tricera Finish has Monuzar levitate into the air before eventually rocketing towards the enemy with a right side kick, with the projection of a Triceratops surrounding them. As Monuzar pierces through he lands roughly, breaking the ground as the enemy explodes.

Helico (Helicoprion) Genome
"Bio! My own! Get go! Helico! I get the cut of it!"
Monuzar's Kamen Rider Decade Violent Emotion-based form. The form emphasizes slicing and cutting power. Nuzar has a pair of serrated handaxes, the Dimension Prions, that can vibrate at hypersonic speeds to slice through most materials, while Moneo is coated in serrated blades that vibrate to cut through objects as well. The form also excels in marine combat, allowing the both of them to breathe underwater.

Stamping Trump: The handaxes emit short ranged projections above the blade to act as shortswords with greater cutting power.
Stamping Trample: Nuzar shapeshifts into a shark tail to greatly enhance underwater mobility, agility, and power. It's useless on land.

It's Helico Finish has Moneo slide towards the enemy with great speed as Nuzar scissors the enemy between both handaxes, like a shark lunging in with it's jaws ready. The force and speed is greater in watery environments.

In truth, the regular Helico Genome does not have shark fins by the ankles.
Haast (Haast’s Eagle) Genome
"Too fast! Strong gust! Blumenblatt! Haast! Hunting raptor extreme!"
Monuzar's Kamen Rider W CycloneJokerGoldXtreme/CycloneAccelXtreme-based form. It relies on great mobility, reflexes, and agility to fight, taking in more information during one. It is also capable of flight. Overall, it is Monuzar's fastest form. The wings can even be used as pseudolimbs of sorts in a bout.

Stamping Trump: Nuzar's reaction time, thinking time, and flight speed increase vastly.
Stamping Trample: Moneo's reaction time, thinking time, and leg pwoer increase. Nuzar can now hold onto things with greater force and deliver stronger kicks. The curved feet have greater piercing power.

It's Haast Finish has Monuzar crash legfirst into the enemy at high speeds, before taking hold fo them with said legs (usually around the neck) and doing damage with talons, before spinning rapidly then launching the enemy outwards at dangerous speed.
