just in time for New Year.

a few months back, Naki did a Fuuto Pi watchalong stream and gave out a lot of ideas on what a PRISM Project Rider would be. screen faces, other vtubers as weapons, the whole nine yards.

the entire time all my neurons were activated and i knew i had to draw it. sure its a few months late by now but hey its still 2022

one reason it took so long was because designing a Rider system with all the forms and aesthetics takes time and research, lots of testing things out in drawing, etc. with all that im happy with the end result.

generally speaking the theme of this Rider is YouTube and computer files. Zero-One was a heavy inspiration with the sleek futuristic look, fitting for something as complex as vtubing coding-wise. the undersuit which is streamlined has several patches that resemble a YouTube video (including the helmet as seen in the play button on the right cheek and slider on the chin).

i wont go too much into the Driver (dubbed the Virt 2Driver) for now, but essentially it mimics a YouTube Video as well. you put the collectible which resembles a computer file (complete with the folded corner) into the middle of the belt and smash the subscribe button on the left part to initiate transformation. yes i really wanted to integrate smashing the subscribe button into the driver. yes i love it lmao

man, 2022 was a year alright. one of many in fact. may 2023 be even better (as if this year was any good lmao)
