Astrid's story so far:
Born and raised at Stall Polarlys alongside her older brother Sebastian, as well as her cousins Birk and Filippa. She has been known as a troublemaker since the day she was able to move around on her own and nothing could keep her away from what she wanted. She started competing in show jumping right after starting school, expanding into eventing and working her way through the levels. Despite dedicating all of her free time outside of school to horses and competing she still was a very good student and graduated upper secondary school with top grades. At 19 she was enlisted into mandatory military service where she was scouted into a top secret special operations team. Few people know about her career as a soldier, even today. It was during this time she met Roland, a French soldier. When she fell pregnant at 20 they got engaged and she moved to France. A couple years into their engagement she decided to leave and go back home, wanting to live up to her ambitions and start competing again. Their son, Severin, remained in France with his dad but she travels to see him several times a year and she maintains a solid friendship with her ex. Now she's competing internationally, working hard to produce horses of good quality and caliber.
