Here's another piece of the Chrona sketch page I'm doing. I did this one while on stream, and I've enjoyed doing it. Keep in mind this is just a screenshot. A full resolution version will appear when this whole page is done.

I liked Chrona all around. I liked his character's appearance and the depth of his back story as well as his fighting arrangements.

Did they finally come out and say Chrona was a guy? It was one of the few really weird questions of the show, among many. XD

No, they've never come right out and said it, although I have good reason to believe he's a boy.

Hrm. Well I could believe that, he does have a boyish figure though a girly attitude. Then again, I've been fooled before, Bridget from Guilty Gear. XD

Well my reasons include:
1. He looks more like a girly boy than a boyish girl
2. In the manga and anime, he's referred to as "he" just as much or more than "she" (If nothing else, it's equally possible)
3. Medusa sought to control every aspect of him. Wouldn't it make perfect sense to even have his gender under her control? I mean she was sadistic and awful enough to make him kill a little rabbit to "bring out his power" when he was a tiny little kid. She locked him in his room for days on end with ragnarok to 'discipline' him. I could easily see her raising him as a girl when he was a boy to further embarrass, shame, and control him.
