nicely done, dear. I think the lips are fine; it's the cheek that gets me.... it looks like a slap in the face to me. close-up the cheek looks okay, step back and it resembles a slap. still, this is a wonderful shot

you could raise the contrast, but I think that would ruin the shot a bit. I was trying to figure how else it could be done. I hope you don't mind, but I mentioned this to a fellow dAist/friend. She thought of airbrushing a little white over the red spot using a different layer and blending it in a bit or narrowing the red to look more like blush. of course, these are just ideas.... do with it as you will, dear

Your poem really helps set the scene. I would have put more colour in (still keeping it mainly black and white) but It would probably mess it all up
