I like this piece more than any other piece I've made. And dear god, this took so long to make. I finally realized that no matter how much I work on it, it'll always keep on getting better and better and it'll keep on changing and will eventually become a different piece each time I edit it. So really, I'm just tired of messing with it, and here it is, my finished product.
Yeah, too much time was put into this. WAY too much time. And this isn't the only version that I'll be submitting.

is this supposed to be in space? if so where is the starfield? I was working on something a bit similar to this, but it looked like a fantasy pic than a space one, and a starfield didn't seem to go well. I guess you had the same idea

I think it's perfect the way it is. It looks like a fiery butterfly, or angel, or whatever winged creature you'd prefer. And the strokes are beautiful. They seem flawless almost.
