"You want to know the reason Silver?" Riho hissed lightly before continuing, "She was born frail and weak and that no good man blamed mom." Riho said give one last hateful glare before stomping off to her room. Silver sighed again and walked in the opposite direction, heading to his room to allow his little sister to play with the old teddy bears he had in his room. When he entered his room however, Ruby was already fast asleep; his shoulder wet from Ruby's tears. He gently laid ruby on his bed and covered her up. "Heh, Ruby didn't get to eat her cake. I guess she could eat it when she wakes up." He walked over to his closet seeing some of the fairly new teddy bears he hardly touched when he was younger. As he pulled out a new shirt to put on, a bear landed on his head. The black haired boy grabbed the bear from his head and smiled realizing it was his old panda, which became Ruby's favorite.

"Oniichan! What are you doing to the bears?"
"I'm cleaning them Ruby."
"But why are you using steam for?" Silver looked at the girl seeing she had no idea what was going on. He then smiled, "They have to be sterilized so you can play with them. If they're dirty they might make you sicker."
"Oh … Oh! Does that mean I get to play with Oniichan's teddy bears when he's done cleaning them?" Ruby had asked her tail wagging back and forth. Silver looked at her smiling again. "Of course!"

Silver smiled, that was a fond memory for him, seeing Ruby light up in delight at being able to play with toys he had played with when he was about her age. Seeing as how Ruby wasn't as frail as she used to be, he decided to let Ruby sleep with pillow-sized panda. Not to long after he laid it next to her Ruby hugged the panda in her sleep. She nuzzled it while talking in her sleep, "Oniichan …" A smile could be seen on Ruby's face as Silver went over to his desk to start working on his homework.

Several hours later, Silver was watching his TV at a low volume (so as to not awaken Ruby) when his mother knocked then entered. "Silver have you seen Ruby? I can't find her anywhere, if she was outside with Ouka I wouldn't worry but she isn't with Ouka so--"
"She's right here sleeping mom." Silver said cutting off his mother and pointing to his bed. "Ehem as I was trying to say before you cut me off, so if she is with you I'd worry even less." She said finishing her sentence.

"Anyway, there is another reason I came, Ouka said Riho ran away again and she took that red dagger I gave her, and you know, the one that faded to a hot pink color?"
"Yea I know the one, I heard Riho cursing earlier too. She probably was testing out the new rose daggers she and Ouka were creating. They are supposed to be specially made weapons for when Ruby learned how to fight. Ouka designed them to inject a type of poison in who ever it hit. Riho was left to design the actual weapon."
"Well I knew about the weapon but I didn't know its purpose, so thank you for explaining Silver, but I still want you to go find your sister. You know Riho better than anyone in the village."
"Alright mom, but ask Ouka to come inside and watch Ruby for me, you know how Ruby tends to get sick very easily. Let's not forget she almost died as a baby because Riho neglected to watch her, then Ruby became dangerously fevered."
"I know I'll call Ouka inside right now."

Silver walked around the village watching people wave at him before he waved back. He walked up to one of Riho's favorite places to come to when she was angry, the ice cream shop. Riho normally would be found there eating a very bitter chocolate ice cream cone.

Silver walked out several minutes later when the   owner of the shop told him he stopped letting Riho come around because it was bad for his business.

"Why don't you let my little sister come in anymore?"
"Sorry Silver, but because she's a succubus and a vampire … she's kinda bad for business. If I keep letting her come in she's gonna scare away all my customers" The owner said simply to answer Silver.

Silver was angry that so many people were treating Riho like a monster. It was no wonder Riho bore such a strong hatred in her heart. He continued walking and found some nuns standing outside the church yelling angrily and throwing water at something. Silver decided to go see what was going on. When he got there, he saw Riho crying on the steps of the church and holy water being thrown on her. It looked like the holy water was irritating Riho's skin, or making her sick. Riho was crying loudly.
"I hereby cast this demon out!" the nun cried before throwing a rock at Riho's head. When the rock hit the twelve-year-old girl, knocking her unconscious, something snapped inside Silver.  The moment Riho fell back and Silver smelled her blood in the air; he quickly ran towards the nun and pushed her into the ground with all his strength. "What the fuck is wrong with you people?! That's my little sister you   just probably gave a concussion to you evil bitch! She is just a little girl and she is the village leader's daughter! She's basically a princess and you all treat her like she's some filthy demon who should be discarded!"
"But she is! Just look at her tail! She is a succubus! In addition, she is a vampire as well! How do we know that when she gets older she won't go after the men of our village?!" one of the nuns cried.
"Yes! On the other hand, what if she kills everyone in the village one by one because she is a vampire?! We should act now and kill her before she kills us!"
"Yes!" The crowd of nuns all shouted simultaneously.
"Well she's just a little girl! Moreover, how about I promise you this; when she gets older, if she craves human souls I will personally take her from the village with me! I will leave with her! And I don't care if that means she might take my own soul! I'm just sick of everyone treating my little sister like a demon! If she is thirsty, I will offer her my blood so no one else gets hurt! Now, does anyone object to my promise?"  Silver shouted before glaring at all the women; their cat ears, dog-ears, wolf ears and fox ears were all perked up as everyone just stood staring in shock at Silver's words. Silver was always a man of his word, that was well known throughout the village; Silver's proposal was shocking to everyone.

Seeing that no one had anything to say he gently picked up his younger sister and began heading home. "My sister is hurt; we have an alliance with the vampires and incubus/succubus clan because of my little sister's father! If she dies because of you people, I personally will go tell Riho's father that the villagers killed her! And the only ones who would be spared   from his wrath would be my mother, my remaining sisters, and I!" Silver yelled back at them, not trying to be serious but only trying to scare the women. It worked, the women were panicking and Silver could hear them praying that Riho would stay alive. It made Silver happy that he scared them, but it angered him that they were such cowards to pray for his sister's safety only because they didn't want to die.
