"I was trying to check if you were feverish ... How are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling fine ..." Lass said sitting up but wincing due to a headache. He then started to stand up off the bed, "I don't know why everyone is making such a big fuss abou--..." Lass was abruptly silenced before grunting quietly, holding his head and collapsing on the floor of Arme's room.

Mari, being concerned, got up from the chair she was sitting in and quickly walked over to the other side of Arme's bed. She found Lass struggling to get up. Mari got down to help him.
"I'm fine..." Lass said sounding frustrated. Mari wasn't fooled one bit by this. She put her hand on his forehead and frowned at how hot his forehead was.

Mari sighed as Arme then entered the room with a bag of what seemed to be medicine.
The violet haired girl shouted in concern as she saw the thief, "Oh no! Lass are you alright?!" Lass was halfway to standing on his own when he nodded. He nearly fell over when both girls quickly grabbed hold of him to help him back onto the bed.
"Lass you really should have waited 'til I came back," Arme sighed, "Thanks for helping me with him Mari." After receiving a nod from the cerulean haired girl Arme continued, "Here Lass, take this potion I made, you'll feel better in a jiffy!" the mage said holding out a bottle to silver haired boy. He and Mari exchanged skeptical looks at one another before Lass hesitantly grabbed the potion.

"Thi-this won't turn me into a vampire will it?" Lass asked seeming very nervous about taking the potion his girlfriend made. Mari chuckled lightly at Lass's question, making the mage pout.
"It will not! It's the same potion I use for my colds. It's a potion that's basically like taking a flu shot, a little bit of the sickness in the potion to help your body fight it off. I mixed antibiotics in it along with a bit of the last time I caught pneumonia which is where I got the sample from!" Arme said with a smile earning a look of fear from the striker.
"You... did experiments on yourself... even though you were sick ..." Lass said staring at the potion in disgust. That fact that Arme was experimenting while she was sick wasn't in the least bit surprising to him. What was shocking however was the fact that Arme took a sample from herself to put into the potion and experiment on herself.

Lass slowly opened the potion and put it to his lips tilting his head back before drinking it. The potion tasted horrible making Lass try to drink it faster to get it over with and avoid arguments with Arme. After finishing the potion Lass drank a cup of water that was on Arme's nightstand.

"That tasted horrible." Lass said quietly making Arme giggle. Lass soon felt drowsy and lay back in the bed; barely conscious as he slowly drifted to sleep. Mari looked at him curiously knowing that this was more than likely a side effect of Arme's potion; one look at Arme's smile confirming what she had thought.

"So Mari, what do you need?" the mage asked.
Before Mari could answer, Amy came in running. "Mari!! You are gonna need a lot, and I mean A LOT of stuff if you're going to the Sands of Illusion by yourself so here!" Amy handed Mari her pink and blue chu-chu bag. Mari blinked and stared at the bag remembering why Amy would let her borrow it.
"Why are you letting me borrow your chu-chu bag?" the blue haired girl asked.
The musician smiled, "'Cause it's got lots of space and you're gonna need it~" Amy smiled and opened the bag to show Mari that she packed two first aid kits, a two week supply of fruits and vegetables and water extra medicine, clothes, blankets, sleeping mats, pillows, and health potions. Mari gratefully accepted the chu-chu bag and put her own bag neatly into Amy's chu-chu bag.
"Amy? Why did you pack so much food for me? I don't I'll be gone longer than 3 days"
"Well, Sieggy might be starving when you find him so he might eat all the food if I only packed one week's worth of food." Amy explained. Mari shrugged lightly and turned to Arme who had grabbed her staff.
"If I'm going to send you to the Sands of Illusion, I'm going to cast a saver on you so you can be somewhat protected at least," Arme explained before asking, "Are you ready now Mari?" The blue haired girl nodded and closed her eyes not wanting to become dizzy when she was transported. "Be sure to send us a letter from you with Kormet to--"
"That won't be necessary I already have a transporter set in my room, all I have to do is place the other one in the place I find Sieghart and we'll teleport back" Mari explained cutting off Amy's sentence.
The girls smiled towards Mari before calling out "Good Luck" and teleporting Mari to her requested destination. When Mari opened her eyes again she noticed she was in a very sandy area. She looked around and noticed several frillzards walking around. It seemed they had yet to notice the engineer. Mari opened the chu-chu bag to grab her maverick. She pulled out bullets and loaded her gun aiming towards the frillzard that was closest to her. The heterochromic girl lifted the gun ever so slightly to aim at the head and possibly the brain of the reptile; knowing that would kill it on the spot.
She aimed carefully, then pulled the trigger; shooting it right in the head and making the reptile fall over dead.

Mari sighed heavily knowing that the monsters now knew her position. If her gun firing was not heard or seen, the allies of the fallen monster sure saw their ally collapse. Mari quickly hid behind a sand dune and waited for her mana to charge. Simultaneously, she pulled out her grimoire, allowing the enemies to come closer. Once she heard them come close enough, she quickly jumped out of the dune and fired an Eraser. A machine flew over the monsters as the spell was cast. A powerful blue laser hit every monster as the machine flew past them; completely obliterating all the monsters in her path.
