Description
This is what it's like.It leaves you alone in a never ending hole, it labels you like old, devalued goods, it diagnoses you with depression, PTSD, DID,..., it eats you away.
In a mere second it breaks your world into thousand pieces just to glue it back together in such a lousy way that it doesn't look like it's the same world anymore.
Just like as if someone had accidentally dropped it on the floor and was now trying to cover up the fact by glueing the broken pieces back together.
How is it like?
Now you know.
So you'll never ever joke about it again.
Sketch done with pencil, typography in Photoshop.

I want to say that is a girl under the age when she has breasts. I agree mental illness is nothing to joke about or make fun of.

Jesus fucking christ, in no way does "objectification" give you fucking ptsd, DID, or Depression.
Stop fucking overreacting and being a whiny bitch.

Yes, this is a great depiction of what it's like for a still developing small child to be diagnosed with bullshit like "mood" disorders as young as four, and when one of your parents is an asshole who had all the same stuff. FML. Labels ruin lives. Labels are what hurt people; NOT "disorders."

I was born with Bipolar. The disorder was absolutely nothing at all (my mom tells me whenever Bipolar is brought up how I've never seemed to respond to Bipolar mentally-- even though she was always saying otherwise when I was a kid, ugh) compared to the repeated nearly violent emotional abuse I can't remember but I got from one end, and on the other I got insults 10 times worse than when a woman tells another woman that she doesn't know what she's saying because she's merely PMSing. No wonder some kids keep silent about their disorders from their parents.

Damn! That's pretty powerful stuff. I can somewhat relate to some of the message in the piece, but not all of it.
I can't say I understand exactly what you went through, and I can't say I know how you felt, but you have my sympathies at the very least.
And rape jokes aren't ever funny. I completely agree.
