nice shot as always.
i guess i wanted to "consolidate" her dress with the background.
it works but when we look closer we can see it, this is because of the colors.
you should get a dress with a similar color( if you didn't already)
also maybe take the photo without this piece of wood because it breaks the rhythm a bit.
but yea...i can see what you meant by transparent. this is great, soft, artistic!
this is what i think but i also think that photo is art. this is not only professional technics and rules. photo is just about what you want to tell us.(im not pro, just an art student who loves photography)
So this is all about how you want your pictures to looks like. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="37" height="25" alt="

Really the kind of girl I won't ever mess with She looks so determinate as she's gone through this wall just before

The blending in of the model with the background is masterful.

Great composition and concept, she has become part of the wooden panel, love that rhythm!!! Beautiful textures, shades and colours, and this "transparency" transposed her to become part of an other surface. I also like the posture, that follows the rhythm of the wood, but her eyes are not that expressive, than it should be. I mean she doesn't talk with her eyes, she hasn't got the story.
But all together... impressive shot! Great idea and implementation!

Hi, might be nice to have the model higher in this picture so it would looks like she has taken the black wall for her clothes. with regards soolaris

i do like the way her dress fades into the wall and it seems like she is coming out of the wall.
sorry i dont see the "it" factor in her eyes that would have put it over the top. but thats just me and others may see "it" i do like the photo on the whole

Wonderful and sad. It makes me think of feeling eclipsed by someone else's radiance and receding into the background in insecurity. So much eloquence in such a simple image.

Nicely done here! Love how the colour tone of the model and back ground. Both of the same tone and blend in perfectly!
