I honestly don't mind the eye make-up and such. But her facial expression from what you can see, and the make-up, give off a sort of 'gloomy' type of air. It makes me wish the lighting and background were a bit darker to reflect that. Otherwise it's a great shot.

I have to agree. It's a lovely portrait but the eye make-up is too heavy at this close range, especially underneath the eye. The eyes are beautiful enough to stand up and out on their own and the facial balance would be better since the lips are fairly pale. Like the concept and the background as the colors blend well with the lip color.
