And about Ragna not being in, it's a similar case to Demitri in Darkstalkers.

Demitri is considered the main character of Darkstalkers, but Morrigan is the more recognisable face and is also the main female character.
Ragna is considered the main character of BlazBlue, but Noel is the more recognisable face and is also the main female character.

They had, what? Spore, Creepy & Cute, Galactic Adventures, Hero, Hero Arena, Creatures, Darkspore… I think one more.. Creature Keeper, was it? Then it kinda died.

Honestly, the other games are mediocre to me. Especially creature keeper, I've played most of the Spore games, they're not too good, but I can see why Hero Arena did well at least. Regular Spore is where it's at, add Galactic adventures onto it, and you've got yourself endless fun. The thing with Spore is, you have more fun with it the more you play it. You end up taking long breaks from it from boredom, but it has a lot of charm to it, so you just come back a few months later, and you play it for hours on end, it's like Civilization.

The aim of my rosters was always to include as many different developers and franchises as possible, so admittedly calling it SSB is kinda misleading, but that's what the whole roster is primarily based on.

Sakurai said he ain't going overboard with third parties,so he's certainly NOT gonna go to the point where the number of third parties excel halfway or even beyond the number of Nintendo characters. Otherwise,the whole point of Smash Bros. will fade away. The point of Smash Bros. is to be a crossover for Nintendo characters(or third-parties who have had recognizable releases on Nintendo systems)

First off, the Nintendo characters aren't any different from how they were in Smash 4. The only difference is the inclusion of third-parties,so many third-parties that it takes away the whole point of Smash,most of them don't make any sense whatsoever.

Second off, some of these characters are copyrighted to Nintendo's competitors, Sony and Microsoft(example: Sackboy and Ratchet and Clank for Sony, and Banjo-Kazooie and Conker for Microsoft). That'll cause many lawsuits,which will lead Nintendo to a major meltdown.

Third off,some of these characters are not even video game characters,such as the Marvel Protagonists(Various comic books,TV shows,and movies),Wreck-It-Ralph(Movie),and Agumon,Gatomon,and Renamon(Virtual Toys),and Sakurai said only characters that originated as video game characters are permitted to be in Smash.

Fourth off,some of these characters have an incredibly slim priority,if any priority at all,to be in Smash,such as Crash and Spyro. Activision wouldn't even let them in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale,so I'm pretty sure they'll deny Crash and Spyro being in Smash Bros.

Not trying to offend you or anything,but this literally makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Nintendo would need to be incredibly desperate to pull off something like this. If they did,they likely will begin another Video Game Crash.

Okay, since you went through the trouble of writing this, I'll try to cover them each in turn.

First point: I'm afraid I'm a little confused as to which roster you're talking about here, mine or the official one? As far as making sense is concerned… well, it doesn't really have to; Would anyone have chosen Pac-Man, Mega Man, Duck Hunt Dog and Wii Fit Trainer to have a brawl together? Would you have ever pictured Kirby beating up Snake? Sakurai is known for making odd choices in Smash, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he puts himself in at some point, so it's really no big deal. Besides, fan-made rosters other than this one have made some genuinely odd choices.

Second point: Apart from those characters which are owned by Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft, the choice of console is entirely up to the developers, and in some cases the publishers too. Take Dust: An Elysian Tail for example, developed by Humble Hearts. It was originally released on the XBox Live Arcade, then made the jump to Steam which is owned by Valve, and then recently it came out on Playstation 4. And some series have been released on all three competitors' consoles, like Skylanders, so the consoles on which a game series can appear is extremely subjective.

Third point: Non-game characters have just as much right the be in a game as game characters do. All the characters featured in my roster have been Marvel VS Capcom as well as some of them having their own games, Wreck-It Ralph has taken part in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and also has his own game on Wii, and Digimon, while starting off as Tamagotchi-esque virtual pets, have branched off into full games themselves. Plus, Mametchi from Tamagotchi has been seen in Mario Kart, so the connection is there.

Fourth point: For Crash and Spyro, it's more or less what I said in point; if Activision don't want them in Battle Royale, that's their choice, if they want to send them into Smash, they have the right connections to do that. Both Skylanders and Crash's Titan games have been on Nintendo consoles, so if they want to take preference I say it's within their ability to do that.

An overarching point would be that this is fan-made and isn't meant to be a serious character prediction. Personally, my rosters are more fan-service based than anything else, even if they do take their roots from Smash. So it's not made to say "I want this guy in Smash." It's more about saying "Here are your favourite characters in one roster." That is all.

First Point: Sakurai may make bazzare decisions,but Smash Bros. is his Game. As director,he decides who's going to be in it. He's normally a very serious man who barely lets off his word. He chose to include Snake because the creator of Metal Gear Solid,who is friends wit Sakurai,wanted him to be added,so Sakurai chose to accept his friend's request and add Snake in Brawl. 

Second Point: That still doesn't change the fact Sakurai might include Sony or Microsoft characters in Smash. He is aware that not only would the folks at Sony and Microsoft will likely deny it,but it would cause major lawsuits that would be a major downfall for Nintendo. If that were to happen,Nintendo would likely lose so much money that they'd have to be the small card-playing company they were so long ago,and No Nintendo fan,including me,would want that happen to the company.

Third Point: Sakurai stated   Loud and   Clear that a character needs to originate as a video game character and have one or more recognizable releases on Nintendo systems to be included in Smash. That's why Snake,Sonic,Mega Man,and Pac-Man are in; all 4 had recognizable releases on Nintendo systems(Mega Man even had his first game released exclusively on the NES.) Sakurai stated all of this,so no TV characters,no Movie characters,no Book characters,and no Virtual Toy characters,and Sakurai is very serious about his ideas,so he ain't gonna change his mind. In the Marvel Protagonists' case,Nintendo had absolutely no involvement in any of the Marvel VS Capcom games. It says Marvel VS Capcom,so it's made to be a crossover between Marvel's characters and Capcom's characters. Just because Wreck-It-Ralph is in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed doesn't mean he'll be in Smash. For Digimon's case,Digimon may have gotten multiple video games released,but they originated as virtual toys. Also,Mametchi from Tamagotchi being playable in Mario Kart has nothing to do with a Digimon being in Smash. Mario Kart and Smash Bros. are completely different games and they rarely play by the same rules(exceptions are R.O.B. in Mario Kart DS,who was later playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl,and the upcoming Mario Kart 8 DLC,which has Link and Villager who were in Smash 3DS beforehand). For one,Genre differences. Mario Kart is a racing game,and Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game. Mametchi in Mario Kart doesn't affect the likelihood of Agumon,Gatomon,or Renamon being in Super Smash Bros.

Fourth Point:You've got me there. If Activision wouldn't allow them in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale,I think they'll deny them being in Smash Bros.

Okay, all these points are saying more or less the same thing, so...

Any major company, be it Sony, Microsoft, Valve, Activision, Rare, whatever, has the right to appeal to Nintendo. True, Sakurai has the final say, but he won't be the main man forever, and who's to say that his successor won't at least consider Marvel or Disney? All these companies have the ability to work together should they choose to do so, and it's entirely possible that one day, they might break down the walls of copyright and collaborate to produce one super-game. And no, I don't think it would lead to a crash or lawsuits. Quite the opposite, actually. There's very little room for lawsuit when these companies agree to work together, and the resulting game would likely EXPLODE in popularity because it's reaching out to all different fan bases, not to mention it would likely be playable on all major consoles. These companies already have connections set up to one another, and if one day they decide to set aside their differences to make this game a reality, it is entirely within their power to do that.
