Description: The Postosuchus is a genus of large Rauisuchid reptiles that lived during the Late Triassic Period in what is now North America, with fossils being found in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and North Carolina. This was one of the apex predators in its Late Triassic ecosystem, any animal that can be grabbed by the sharp teeth of the Postosuchus is prey for the hungry predator, the only thing that could threaten a healthy adult Postusuchus is another rival of the same species. In early depictions, the Postusuchus was believed to be a quadrupedal Pseudosuchian, similar to many other creatures in the same clade, but we now know the Postosuchus was actually a bipedal animal, walking with its legs positioned underneath its body, this is due to many features of its body resembling Theropod Dinosaurs, such as limb proportions and weight-bearing sections of the spine. The skull of the Postosuchus alone was 55 centimeters long and 21 centimeters broad and deep, this would have been ideal for delivering strong bite forces for killing prey or leaving major wounds, and just by looking at the skull, we can see the Postosuchus had incredible senses that were perfect for an apex predator, large orbits for large and sharp eyes would have given it really good long distance sight, elongated nostrils for an excellent sense of smell, and there is a hollow space under the nostrils that some scientists think is where a Jacobson's Organ is located, a sensory organ that is in many different animal species today.

Personal Thoughts: I have to say, I love this Postosuchus, everything about it is exactly identical to the Postusuchus it's based on from Walking With Dinosaurs. The modeling, textures, and sounds are all 100% accurate to what it is based on. Even though by today's standards of paleontology, this Postosuchus would be unrealistic and inaccurate, I'll let that part slide. Having this in a prehistoric zoo is an absolute must, it has no bugs or glitches, everything about it is accurate to the WWD Postosuchus it's based on, and it can breed properly in the game.
