While these newest Prime images are technically superior, they lack a certain energy that the 2015 versions had: professorfandango.deviantart.c…I'm not quite sure which I prefer right now, but I've always followed an unwritten rule for Fandango robots wherein I try to make them 'clunky' rather than the usual cartoon 'stretchy.'
Prime-2 can only communicate in electronic chitters but boasts quite a bit of utility as a maintenance and repair robot. Almost always paired up with Prime-3, they make quite a symbiotic team.

I would probably say that the earlier sketches that you did of this crew was a bit more action-based when it came to their poses so far, so I can understand the choice between a nice colored and less active pic Vs. less detailed color but more active poses.
In any case, do know that this one still showcases your design work well, just in a different way than what you did in 2015. Keep at it!

I've got to agree with you there.
I'm hoping to get some of these guys animated soon though so maybe that will help to give them the action I need!
