Villainy Week: [link]Curse it all! I missed the last two villainy weeks and I've been working on something altogether bigger and more spectacular so I never really got anything done this time around.
But hey, I can draw Fandango pretty quick and it was also a chance to try out the elusive pen tool, which didn't seem to work quite as I expected (or was told) but NEVERMIND. VILLAINY WEEK WOO.
And yes, something went altogether wrong with that hand.

Looks very good in overall. I REALLY dig into its minimalist but effective composition, it looks really 'design friendly' (couldn't think of any better words to put it off). That would do an excellent ID of yours.

I'm quite surprised this one was so popular, it's not nearly as neat and tidy as it should be, I did it very quickly.

That's because simplness is effective, especially in logos or "posters" like yours.

I like it. It's simple, but commands my attention, like it was a neon sign that fell off a building and landed on my eye. Which is a good thing. I think the composition looks great, especially with the text.

I love it. I've always had a hard time finding a good pen tool. What program and/or brush settings are you using to get the varied width in strokes?

It's Photoshop. I basically used the thing like a polygonal lassoo so the line thickness is all manual. I was trying to follow a tutorial here on DA but for unknown reasons it wasn't working quite the same, I must have had some obscure button toggled wrong or something.

The link is in the description. Maybe it's not all encompassing in its information, but Villainy Week is simply an excuse for cartoonists to draw bad guys.
