Having reached the village on the other side of the mountain, Terry bumps into Ryoki again, who challenges Terry to a duel. Ryoki's father permits the two to fight. If Terry wins, he'll be granted any provisions he requires from the village merchants. If Ryoki wins, Terry will be banished from the village under penalty of death.
