My muscle man is kinda awesome We found a house we really liked (only real downside is a VERY steep driveway but, that allowed us to negotiate a lower price, which was awesome) and he worked with our lender to close in record time. We didn't want to put any offers down until we closed on our old house(which happened about a week before our actual "move out date" since the family we sold to couldn't move until then, and we still needed to move out). In any case, the sellers of this home already moved to their new house, and they were more than happy to move the sell along! We started looking for houses when the offer came in on our old house, we were torn between getting another "fixer upper" or getting a mostly finished house... In our area, there are not many homes for sale right now, and most don't stay on the market long unless there is a reason (ie, fixer upper). It's partly why we chose to sell our home in the first place, but it made finding a perfect spot that much harder. We're pretty sure this one didn't sell because of the driveway, because everything else is pretty amazing! So it's officially ours now! It has a lot of similarities to our old house, but is in a neighboring town where my muscle man's family and some of his close friends live. It still has 4 bedrooms and a nice mancave, but it's about a million times nicer than our first place(not that it was awful, but man, this place in incredible)! High ceilings, huge rooms, better insulation, fresh paint, nicer neighbors... Really we just cannot get over how fancy it is!
