I'm having a tough time enjoying the fall weather; school hasn't been going great, and there's a coldness in the air that isn't weather related. I'm knee deep in DA notifications to catch up on, photos to edit and upload, and it feels like my computer is slowly... dying. Stress and the never ending list of things I have to take care of gives me no time to catch up, read, or write. Not only that, but my memory card had an error and now I have to wait two weeks for my new one. So I took this a week ago when we had rains. I wish the world would just STOP .

*EDIT* Ok, I'm feeling... more at peace now xD

Description/RP:

Even though Meg suspects more rain to hit the earth later in the afternoon, she tacked up Phoenix. The big shire stallion hadn't been out in days due to the whether, and Meg knew a risk like this would pay off. With a happy nicker, Phoenix waited in the cross ties, while Meg dug through the tack trunk. Unfortunately, the nicer draft halter was already in use, so she instead snatched the leather hackamoore, slipped it over his head, and tightened the girth on the English saddle. Reaching into the tack room for her coat, she slips it on over her sweater; rather overdressed for the occasion. As they ride off towards the trails at the back of the property, fall leaves fall, and twigs snap under Phoenix's hooves. "What a beautiful afternoon to be riding." Meg whispers, and they head on down the trail.
