The force of darkness seems a lot...slower or heavier than the quick and sharp force of light. It almost seems unfair....and what about the demon's wings? But seriously I really admire this image - it creates a crucial moment that really catches your attention

Thanks. The story is about two characters who are (arguably) both equally evil, but consider each other arch nemeses. The demon can levitate without wings and in our lore, demon wings are considered a sign of cowardice (project-sazzon.deviantart.com/… for example).

About the cosmology: Angel wings, however, are a symbol of rank. Archangels, such as project-sazzon.deviantart.com/… and project-sazzon.deviantart.com/… have four wings, whereas regular angels, such as project-sazzon.deviantart.com/… and project-sazzon.deviantart.com/… only have two.
