Description
Shane is most likely one of the few characters in the whole comic based on a real person who is most true to his character. Shane likes all things that are martial arts, especially Jeet Kun Do (The Way of the Intercepting Fist) and it's founder, Bruce Lee. He's also heavy on philosophy, and always has something to say that makes your mind itch. Like Mitch, he's also a secondary storyline character, but will have frequent pops and his own story arc in between chapters.

I wanted to try something new with this one. The biggest thing i wanted to happen with this pic once i got to the coloring stage was experiment with halo reflection. In other words, have a faint glow around him that reflected the colors of the various lights in the setting, thusly why i chose a pic of a busy Shunjuku street at night. The final product came out really nice...i did a small brushing over his outline with a dull orange/yellow, and highlighted with blues and reds where needed, adjusted the opacity and bang, there ya go.

The biggest challege with this particular pic was the cleaning... no matter how much i tried, i wasnt able to clean the scritchings and loose particles inside the lines without going through the whole thing with an eraser. Granted, there might have been an easier way to do it, but my training in photoshop was minimum and it was about 4 in the morning and my brain was running on auxillery power. X3

And of course the Bruce Lee quote was a must. He always had the coolest things to say.
